A/Prof Zubair Amin is the Head and Senior Consultant of the Department of Neonatology at Khoo Teck Puat - National University Children’s Medical Institute, National University Hospital (NUH). He also holds the role of Associate Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. A/Prof Amin is Board Certified by the American Board of Paediatrics and is an accredited specialist in Paediatrics by the Singapore Medical Council.

He brings extensive experience, having previously worked in the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA, and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore, before joining NUH in 2003. A/Prof Amin’s clinical expertise focuses on newborn medicine, while his academic interests span medical education, particularly in learning and assessment. He has been instrumental in advancing neonatal care and medical training, contributing to improved outcomes for vulnerable newborns.
