Dr Andrew Sng is a Consultant in Paediatric Endocrinology at both Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and the NUWoC Children's Clinic at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. He graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore and achieved his Master of Medicine in Paediatrics and MRCPCH in 2013. His special interests lie in paediatric hormonal and growth issues, particularly growth and pubertal disorders, bone health, thyroid diseases, and diabetes. Dr Sng also has a strong research focus on childhood obesity and metabolic syndrome.

Dr Sng has held key leadership roles during his training, including Chief Resident in 2013 and Chief Registrar in 2016. He is passionate about teaching and mentoring, having received the NUHS Young Clinician Mentor Award in 2017. His research includes studies on inflammatory responses in obese children and genetic factors related to childhood obesity, and he has contributed to several publications in the field.
