Dr. Christl Yong is an Associate Consultant in the Department of Psychological Medicine at the National University Hospital (NUH). She earned her medical degree from Monash University in 2012 and completed her residency with the National Psychiatry Residency Programme in 2022, gaining accreditation as a specialist in Psychiatry. Her training included rotations through prominent institutions such as NUH, TTSH, SGH, and IMH, and she holds a Membership in the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK).

Dr. Yong specializes in General Adult Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, with a particular focus on perinatal mental health. She is committed to a multidisciplinary approach to care and has a keen interest in medical education, actively mentoring undergraduate students at NUS. In addition to her clinical work, she has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications in psychiatry, showcasing her dedication to advancing the field. She is a member of the Singapore Psychiatry Association and the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
