Fabian Yap Kok Peng is a distinguished Senior Consultant and Head of the Paediatric Endocrinology Service at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). With a focus on treating growth and puberty disorders, he also manages conditions like diabetes and hyperglycemia in children. A Fellow of both the Academy of Medicine Singapore and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK), he brings extensive expertise to his clinical and academic roles. His training in Paediatric Endocrinology includes mentorship under leading experts at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney.

He is passionate about improving the care of babies with hypoglycemia and children with metabolic disorders. His research focuses on the developmental origins of metabolic diseases, seeking to reduce the burden of non-communicable diseases. Prof Yap is also actively involved in education as a Clinical Professor with the SingHealth Duke-NUS Paediatrics Academic Clinical Programme and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, mentoring future generations of pediatric specialists.
