Dr. John Wong Chee Meng is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Psychological Medicine at the National University Hospital and a Lin Jo Yan and Yeo Boon Khim Professor in Mental Health and Neuroscience at NUS. He holds an MBBS and MMed (Psych) from NUS, an MSc in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from the University of London, and is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. Dr. Wong’s extensive training includes stints at Guy’s Hospital and Maudsley in London and trauma psychiatry training in the U.S. His clinical expertise spans adolescent depression, ADHD, autism, prepubertal eating disorders, and traumatic stress.

Dr. Wong is also the Director of the Mind Science Centre at NUS and the Programme Director of REACH (West), focusing on early mental health interventions. He is deeply involved in education and research, earning accolades like the Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence and the Lee Kim Tah Lecture Award. His holistic approach combines clinical practice, research, and mentorship to address complex psychiatric needs.
