Dr Elizabeth Tham is the Head and Senior Consultant of the Division of Paediatric Allergy, Immunology & Rheumatology at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, and an Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. She graduated with MBBS from NUS in 2007 and has extensive training in paediatrics and neonatology. Dr Tham focuses on managing allergic disorders such as atopic dermatitis, food and drug allergies, allergic rhinitis, and asthma. She is particularly passionate about improving the care of children with eczema and is committed to enhancing their quality of life.

As a Clinician-Scientist, Dr Tham conducts cutting-edge research on food allergies, skin microbiomes in atopic dermatitis, and the developmental origins of health and disease. She has received multiple prestigious grants, including the NMRC Clinician Scientist Award, and has published in numerous international journals. Dr Tham is also dedicated to teaching and mentoring students and junior clinicians, helping shape the next generation of medical professionals. She is a mother of four and deeply empathizes with the challenges parents face, aiming for holistic care that improves both disease outcomes and family well-being.
