Dr. Sharon Teo is a Consultant in the Division of Paediatric Nephrology, Dialysis, and Renal Transplantation at Khoo Teck Puat-National University Children's Medical Institute, and the Paediatric Kidney Transplantation Programme at the National University Centre for Organ Transplantation, National University Hospital. She is a dual-trained paediatric nephrologist and general paediatrician, holding MBBS and BMedSci degrees from the University of Melbourne, as well as FRACP qualifications in general paediatrics and nephrology.

Dr. Teo specializes in managing children with chronic kidney diseases, including end-stage kidney disease, congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract, glomerulonephritis, and nephrotic syndrome. Her expertise includes paediatric dialysis, critical care dialysis, kidney transplantation, and supporting adolescents with chronic kidney conditions. Actively involved in research, her interests focus on medication adherence, quality improvement, and the psychosocial impact of chronic kidney disease. Dr. Teo is an accomplished author, contributing to numerous peer-reviewed journals, and a member of multiple international nephrology associations.
