Associate Professor Stacey Tay is a Senior Consultant in both the Division of Paediatric Neurology and the Division of Paediatric Genetics and Metabolism at NUH. She also serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. A/Prof Tay graduated with honors from NUS in 1994 and completed her postgraduate training in paediatrics by 1997. She later specialized in Paediatric Neurology at Columbia University's Neurological Institute of New York.
A/Prof Tay has established a Neurogenetic Clinic at NUH and actively contributes to research and education in paediatric neurology. Her clinical focus includes neurogenetic and mitochondrial disorders, epilepsy, and neuromuscular conditions. She also engages in community outreach, supporting organizations like the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Singapore. Her research on the genetics of paediatric neurological diseases has garnered international recognition, and her extensive publications reflect her contributions to advancing the field.
