Dr. Tang Phua Hwee is a Senior Consultant and Deputy Head in the Department of Diagnostic & Interventional Imaging at KK Women's and Children's Hospital, specializing in paediatric imaging. She is an expert in neuroimaging, having completed advanced training at institutions like the University of California San Francisco and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Her contributions include developing innovative techniques such as the use of ultrafast MRI brain sequences for paediatric patients and AI models to enhance imaging efficiency.

Dr. Tang is also an active educator, holding academic positions as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Duke NUS and a Clinical Senior Lecturer at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. She has earned numerous awards for her educational contributions, including the RadSci ACP Education Award and the Ellis Barnett Prize. With a strong research focus on paediatric imaging, Dr. Tang has published extensively, contributing to the advancement of diagnostic techniques and improving paediatric patient care.
