Dr. Timothy Tan Shao Ern is an Associate Consultant in the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, specializing in paediatric imaging. He completed his MBChB from the University of Manchester in 2015 and pursued further training in diagnostic radiology, earning his MMed from Singapore and the FRCR from the UK in 2021. Dr. Tan also received the College of Radiologists Singapore Gold Medal in 2023 for his outstanding performance in the Diagnostic Radiology certifying exam.

His clinical interests include paediatric and oncologic imaging, as well as the application of artificial intelligence in radiology. Dr. Tan is actively involved in research as an adjunct research fellow with SingHealth Duke-NUS Radiological Sciences ACP and Duke-NUS Medical School. He has contributed to numerous publications and has received the National Medical Research Council Research Training Fellowship for his work in children's imaging.
