Associate Professor Saumya Shekhar Jamuar is a Senior Consultant in Genetics at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Director of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute of Precision Medicine. He also leads the Singapore Childhood Undiagnosed Disease Programme. Assoc Prof Jamuar’s expertise lies in genetic disorders, precision medicine, and neurodevelopmental genetics. He has received prestigious awards, including the 2024 GCEO Outstanding Researcher Award and the 2015 SingHealth Outstanding Young Researcher Award.

He completed his medical training at the National University of Singapore and later pursued a Clinical Genetics Fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Assoc Prof Jamuar is passionate about education, mentoring both undergraduate and postgraduate students. His research has been published in leading journals such as *New England Journal of Medicine* and *Nature Genetics*. He holds various leadership roles in genomic medicine and bioethics, contributing to advancing genetic research and clinical applications in Singapore.
