Adj A/Prof Mahesh Babu Ramamurthy is the Head and Senior Consultant of the Division of Paediatric Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep at the National University Hospital (NUH). He holds extensive qualifications, including an MBBS from India, FCPS (Child Health), DNB (Paeds), MD (Paeds), MRCP (UK), and specialized training in Paediatric Intensive Care in Glasgow, UK. His clinical expertise focuses on paediatric pulmonology, respiratory conditions, and sleep medicine, with a particular interest in childhood asthma, allergies, snoring, and sleep disorders. He is well-versed in advanced techniques such as flexible paediatric bronchoscopy and sleep studies.

Adj A/Prof Mahesh has a strong academic background and was involved in developing national guidelines for bronchial asthma, respiratory tract infections, and pulmonary tuberculosis in children in India. Before joining NUH in 2009, he established a tertiary referral center for paediatric respiratory diseases in Bangalore. A respected speaker, he has delivered numerous lectures at national and international conferences and played a key role in founding the first Paediatric Sleep Lab in India.
