Adj A/Prof Yvonne Ng is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Neonatology at Khoo Teck Puat - National University Children's Medical Institute, National University Hospital. She earned her MBBS from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, and completed her pediatric and neonatal specialist training at National University Hospital, Singapore. Dr. Ng is a strong advocate for family-centred care, emphasizing close communication and collaboration between families and the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes. She is also the department’s clinical director and a facilitator for the Clinical Practice Improvement Programme at the National Healthcare Group, Singapore.

In addition to her clinical role, Dr. Ng is committed to promoting breastfeeding. She has been a lactation consultant (IBCLC) since 2008, chairs the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) Steering Committee, and serves as the 1st Vice-President of the Association of Breastfeeding Advocacy Singapore. As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, Dr. Ng actively contributes to teaching and learning.
