Associate Professor Ng Kar Hui is a Senior Consultant in Paediatric Nephrology at the Khoo Teck Puat - National University Children's Medical Institute and the Paediatric Kidney Transplantation Programme at NUH. With extensive training in paediatric nephrology, she is accredited in both Paediatric Medicine and Paediatric Nephrology by Singapore's Ministry of Health. Dr. Ng leads the paediatric dialysis service and the Fetal Kidney Clinic at NUH and has a special interest in genetic kidney diseases.

Dr. Ng has made significant strides in paediatric nephrology research, particularly in genetic glomerular diseases and nephrotic syndrome. She pioneered the study of kidney disease genetics in Singapore and established the DRAGoN network to explore renal genetics across South Asia. A passionate educator, she has received the NUS Faculty Teaching Excellence Award twice and actively shares her expertise internationally, especially in underserved regions. Her contributions to research have been recognized with numerous publications, the Young Investigator Award, and national research grants.
