Dr Belinda is great, very to-the-point and so she can come across as cold initially, but in time you get to know that actually she is warmer than she first seems. Most importantly, she is super experienced and can diagnose pretty much any issue without having to send your poor kid for 1000 tests. Initially we were with another paediatrician who kept sending us for all sorts of tests, and made us panic unnecessarily for what we learnt later from Dr Belinda were quite normal. For example, the other paediatrician had identified a "heart murmur" and scared us about our daughter having a hole in the heart while we learnt from Dr Belinda that for many children, they have tiny holes in their hearts that just take a bit longer to close (even up to 4 years old) but don't affect them in any way. I think it depends on who's on duty, but sometimes the nurses are very nice and other times they seem a bit too busy to care... but I guess it happens!

Dr Murugasu was our son's paediatrician from birth, and we saw a lot of her in his first 2 years of life in 2022 and 2023. She is experienced, to the point, and is quick diagnose the issues. She could identify everything from normal newborn jaundice to colic issues, to a tongue tie that was interfering with his ability to get a proper latch during breastsfeeding. She is very popular and sometimes we would wait up to an hour but the clinic's waiting room is quite comfortable and also has a small play area and tv with cartoons for the little ones. We would recommend her to other mommies and daddies :)

Dr Belinda was one of two paediatricians recommended to me by my gynae at Gleneagles. After visiting both, we chose Dr Belinda as our family paediatrician. She seemed quite serious at first, but after a while she was a bit less steel-y and she is clearly very experienced and knowledgable. Unlike the other paediatrician who kept asking us to take our kid to all sorts of tests, Dr Belinda knew straightaway at the first visit what the problem was and even told us that it would resolve on its own and gave us some medicine for our daughter to tide her through her discomfort in the meantime. While her clinic is always busy, we like that there are certain timeslots dedicated to walk-ins so that we can see her whenever its urgent. We will go back to her if we have another kid :)
