Dr. Mok Yee Hui is a Senior Consultant in the Children’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). A dedicated pediatric intensivist, Dr. Mok specializes in pediatric resuscitation and the use of simulation in healthcare. Her clinical philosophy emphasizes building trust and compassion with families, advocating for patient- and family-centered care. Under her leadership as Clinical Head of the Children’s ICU, the unit has implemented practices that strengthen positive interactions with patients and families.

Dr. Mok graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2000, earned her Master’s in Paediatrics and Child Health in 2005, and completed advanced specialist training in Pediatric Medicine in 2008. She is currently pursuing a Certificate in Professional Studies in Narrative Medicine at Columbia University, reflecting her passion for enhancing humanistic values in healthcare. Through narrative medicine and reflective practice, Dr. Mok seeks to deepen therapeutic relationships and inspire empathy in medical education and practice.
