Adjunct Associate Professor Vidyadhar Mali is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Paediatric Surgery and the Surgical Director of the Paediatric Transplantation Programmes at the National University Centre for Organ Transplantation, National University Hospital. He also holds an academic appointment as Adjunct Associate Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Prof. Mali specializes in paediatric surgery, with a focus on neonatal surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and paediatric kidney and liver transplantation.

Prof. Mali’s extensive training includes general and paediatric surgery qualifications from the University of Mumbai and The Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland. His international expertise was further honed through roles in the UK and Japan, including specialist registrarships at Birmingham Children’s Hospital and a clinical associate position in Tokyo. Recognized with awards such as the COVID-19 Healthcare Award (2021) and the Academic Medicine Development Award (2015), Prof. Mali remains a key figure in advancing paediatric surgical care and transplantation in Singapore and the region.
