Dr. Rishi Malhotra is a Consultant in the Division of Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at the National University Hospital (NUH). With a medical degree from the University of Nottingham, he began his career in the UK’s NHS before relocating to Singapore in 2012 to pursue orthopaedic surgery. He completed his residency training under the National University Health System and achieved his FRCS Orthopedic qualification in 2022. Dr. Malhotra focuses on treating children’s fractures, sports injuries, and deformity correction, while also exploring stem cell applications in fracture healing.
An avid educator, Dr. Malhotra serves as the Assistant Program Director for the orthopaedic residency program and Co-director of postgraduate orthopaedic education. He has authored book chapters and over 20 research publications on topics like diabetic foot surgery and orthopaedic anatomy. Outside of work, Dr. Malhotra enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, and tennis. He is a member of multiple professional associations, including the Singapore Orthopaedic Association.
