Dr. David Lu is an Associate Consultant in the Division of Paediatric Nephrology, Dialysis, and Renal Transplantation at Khoo Teck Puat-National University Children’s Medical Institute, National University Hospital. He graduated with First Class Honours in Medical Sciences and obtained his MB BChir with Distinction from the University of Cambridge. Dr. Lu pursued further specialization in Paediatrics at the National University Hospital, earning his Master of Medicine (Paediatric Medicine) and MRCPCH credentials, culminating in his qualification as a paediatrician in 2023.

Dr. Lu specializes in paediatric nephrology, focusing on conditions related to kidney, bladder, and urinary health. His research interests include the immunological underpinnings of idiopathic nephrotic syndrome, biomarkers for early chronic kidney disease, and novel therapeutic approaches in nephrology. A recipient of multiple academic and research awards, Dr. Lu has contributed significantly to clinical and translational research, authoring numerous peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals.
