Dr. Mervin Loi V-Ter is a Consultant in the Children's Intensive Care Unit at KK Women's and Children's Hospital. He completed his undergraduate medical education at Imperial College, London, and later pursued postgraduate specialist training in Paediatrics. Dr. Loi further honed his skills in Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, where he gained experience in caring for children with complex congenital heart diseases and participated in medical simulation for clinical teaching.

In addition to his medical training, Dr. Loi completed a Diploma of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, fueling his interest in clinical care in resource-poor settings. He holds a Certificate in Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care from the European Society of Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care and is a member of the Paediatric Intensive Care Society (UK).
