Dr. Yvonne Ling is a Senior Consultant at the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), specializing in Paediatric Ophthalmology & Adult Strabismus, Cataract & Comprehensive Ophthalmology. With extensive training in Canada and the United States, she is an expert in managing conditions such as cataracts, childhood myopia, strabismus, and lazy eye (amblyopia), as well as treating double vision, dry eye syndrome, and upper eyelid drooping (ptosis). Dr. Ling is particularly known for her pioneering work in paediatric and adult strabismus and for founding the Strabismus & Paediatric Ophthalmology subspecialty at SNEC.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Ling holds key academic roles, including Clinical Assistant Professor at SingHealth Duke-NUS and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School. Her research interests include myopia control and the management of strabismus and retinopathy of prematurity. Dr. Ling has been instrumental in developing the MyEyeGym app and the Seniors' Eye Rehabilitation programme. Her contributions to the field were recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.
