Dr. Lynne Lim is a Senior Consultant ENT Head and Neck Surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre. She holds numerous prestigious credentials, including an MBBS from the National University of Singapore (NUS), FRCS from Edinburgh, and an MPH from Harvard University. She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at NUS's Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and a Visiting Consultant at the National University Hospital. Dr. Lim's extensive education includes a Fellowship at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital and further specialization in ear reconstruction surgery at renowned centers in the United States and Japan. Her career is marked by pioneering work in ENT surgery and hearing loss treatments, including the first simultaneous bilateral cochlear implant surgeries in Singapore and Asia.

Dr. Lim is an esteemed educator and researcher, having taught a wide range of medical programs at NUS and served on numerous academic committees. She is known for her groundbreaking work in audiology and ENT, such as setting up Singapore's first MSc in Audiology program. As the Director of the NUH Centre for Hearing Intervention and Language Development, she has led significant advancements in hearing healthcare, including the first middle ear implant surgeries in Asia. Her research focuses on hearing loss, novel biomedical devices, and health service delivery. Dr. Lim has received multiple research grants and holds several patents related to her innovations in ENT and hearing healthcare.
