Adjunct Associate Professor Lim Kean Seng Andrew is the Head and Senior Consultant at the Division of Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery, National University Hospital. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Dr. Lim graduated with an MBBS from the University of Melbourne in 2001 and gained valuable medical experience in Australia before returning to Singapore for his surgical training. He earned his MMed in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2008 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2011.
A/Prof Lim specializes in lower limb reconstruction, deformity correction, and limb lengthening, with a notable focus on hip preservation surgery and adolescent sports injuries. He is highly skilled in treating neuromuscular conditions like cerebral palsy using advanced techniques such as instrumented gait analysis and single-event multi-level surgery. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lim is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, serves as the Undergraduate Medical Education Director for NUH's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, and contributes to international research and presentations on paediatric orthopaedics.
