Dr. Liau Mei Qi May is a Consultant in the Division of Dermatology at both the National University Hospital (NUH) and Alexandra Hospital. She holds a MBChB from the University of Edinburgh, where she received the Seggie Book Prize for her top performance in Dermatology. Dr. Liau is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP, UK) and has completed her specialist training in Dermatology in Singapore, where she earned the Best Candidate award in the Dermatology Exit Examination.

Dr. Liau’s clinical interests include immunobullous diseases and paediatric dermatology. She manages a wide range of general dermatological conditions and is involved in postgraduate education, serving as core faculty in the Post-Graduate Year 1 Residency for the Department of Medicine. She has contributed to over 20 peer-reviewed publications, focusing on various aspects of dermatology, including treatments for Paget’s disease and pemphigus vegetans.
