Clin Assoc Prof Lek Ngee is a Senior Consultant in Paediatric Endocrinology at KK Women's and Children's Hospital, specializing in hormonal and growth problems in children. He holds an MBBs (Hons), FRCPCH, MSc, and BSc (Hons). Prof. Lek is also the Co-Lead of Specialist (Diabetes) Care at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Diabetes Centre. His clinical expertise covers a wide range of conditions, with particular interest in diabetes, disorders of sex development, childhood obesity, and growth and puberty issues.

Prof. Lek's research focuses on the pathogenesis, heterogeneity, and natural history of various forms of diabetes mellitus, as well as the complexity of disorders related to sex development. He also explores early life programming, the development origins of health and disease, and sex dimorphism in these processes. His research is instrumental in advancing understanding and treatment approaches for children with endocrine conditions.
