Dr. Lee Yang Yang is a Consultant in the Department of Paediatric Surgery at the Khoo Teck Puat - National University Children's Medical Institute and a key member of the Paediatric Kidney and Liver Transplantation Programmes at the National University Centre for Organ Transplantation. He completed his undergraduate medical education at the National University of Singapore in 2008 and went on to complete his general surgery residency at Singapore General Hospital, earning his Fellowship in General Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2017.

Dr. Lee specializes in paediatric liver disease, liver transplantation, and minimally invasive surgery. After being inspired by his rotation in paediatric surgery, he pursued further training, completing a paediatric surgery residency at National University Hospital and becoming a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 2022. He is one of the few surgeons in Singapore accredited for both adult general surgery and paediatric surgery. Dr. Lee also has a strong interest in medical device development, having obtained his first technical patent in 2010.
