Dr. Lee Jan Hau is a senior consultant at the Children’s Intensive Care Unit, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore, specializing in pediatric critical care. He holds extensive expertise in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), continuous renal replacement therapy, and pediatric intensive care across medical, surgical, and cardiac domains. Dr. Lee obtained his MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 2001, became a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) in 2005, and earned his pediatric specialist accreditation in 2009. He further honed his skills during a fellowship in advanced pediatric critical care at Duke Children's Hospital in 2011–2012.
Dr. Lee actively contributes to pediatric critical care research, focusing on acute respiratory distress syndrome, critical care nutrition, and epidemiology. A recipient of numerous accolades, including the SingHealth Publish! Award and Dean’s Award for Teaching, he combines clinical excellence with academic leadership. As an adjunct assistant professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, Dr. Lee continues to advance pediatric intensive care in Singapore.
