Clinical Associate Professor Joyce Lam Ching Mei is a Senior Consultant at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, with expertise in paediatric haematology, oncology, and pathology. She treats conditions such as childhood cancers, clotting and bleeding disorders, diagnostic haematology, haemophilia, paediatric cytopaenias, and thalassaemia. She also serves as the Head of the Haematology Laboratory and Blood Bank at the hospital.

Her research focuses on haemophilia outcomes, long-term clinical results in thalassaemia, and anticoagulation strategies in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. Actively involved in clinical trials, she has contributed to advancements in paediatric haemophilia and anticoagulation treatments. Additionally, she plays a key role in medical education as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School.
