Clinical Associate Professor Angeline Lai Hwei Meeng is a Senior Consultant in the Genetics Service at KK Women's and Children's Hospital, specializing in paediatric genetics. She also serves as the Service Chief for Paediatric and Obstetrics Genetics at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Genomic Medicine Centre. Her expertise includes a range of genetic conditions such as 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome, Achondroplasia, Klinefelter Syndrome, and mitochondrial diseases.

Prof Lai’s research focuses on clinical cytogenetics, microdeletion syndromes, dysmorphology, and genetic counselling. With her extensive experience, she plays a pivotal role in providing genetic consultations and advancing research in genetic disorders. Prof Lai is dedicated to improving genetic understanding and offering tailored care to families affected by genetic conditions.
