Dr. Koo Chieh Shen is a Consultant in Orthodontics at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. He specializes in a variety of orthodontic treatments, including braces, Invisalign for teens and adults, and management of malocclusion and obstructive sleep apnea. He is also skilled in treating children born with cleft lip and palate and performing alveolar bone grafts (ABG). Dr. Koo has a particular interest in the surgery-first approach for orthognathic surgery, as well as the management of sleep-disordered breathing.

Dr. Koo completed his dental degree at the National University of Singapore in 2011 and furthered his studies at University College London, where he obtained a Master’s in Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics. He also gained his Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Koo is actively involved in professional organizations and enjoys contributing to volunteer missions that support children with facial deformities.
