Dr. Khadijah Binti Abdul Kader is a Consultant in the Department of Neonatology at Khoo Teck Puat - National University Children's Medical Institute, National University Hospital (NUH). She received her medical education from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and completed postgraduate specialty training in Paediatrics at NUH. Dr. Khadijah went on to receive subspecialty training in Neonatology and has also gained experience working at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. She holds a Master of Medicine (Paediatrics), is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK), and is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
Dr. Khadijah has a strong interest in neonatal resuscitation, extreme prematurity, point-of-care ultrasound, and clinical education. She is the Patient Safety Officer at NUH's Department of Neonatology and has received multiple Good Teacher awards for her work in undergraduate medical education at NUS. Additionally, Dr. Khadijah facilitates Neonatal Resuscitation Courses and has contributed to the 2021 Singapore Neonatal Resuscitation Guidelines. She has also been recognized with the NUHS Education Hero Award in 2020.
