Dr. S. Venkatesh Karthik is a Senior Consultant in the Division of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Nutrition, Hepatology, and Liver Transplantation at Khoo Teck Puat - National University Children's Medical Institute, as well as in the Paediatric Liver Transplantation Programme at NUH. He is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. With over 10 years of experience, Dr. Karthik specializes in managing gastrointestinal disorders, chronic liver diseases, autoimmune liver conditions, and recurrent pancreatitis in children, including those requiring liver transplantation.

Dr. Karthik received his medical training in India, followed by advanced specialist training in the UK, achieving dual accreditation in General Paediatrics and Paediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology. His research contributions are widely recognized, with presentations at international conferences and publications in leading journals. He is deeply committed to education, mentoring medical students and paediatric trainees while advancing the care of children with liver and gastrointestinal conditions.
