Dr. Velda Han is a Consultant in Paediatric Neurology at the Khoo Teck Puat – National University Children’s Medical Institute, National University Hospital. She earned her MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 2010, followed by a Master of Medicine in Paediatrics in 2013. With a strong focus on Paediatric Neurology and Neuroimmunology, Dr. Han has developed significant expertise in managing neurological conditions, including seizures, movement disorders, and neurodevelopmental issues such as autism and ADHD.

In 2020-2021, Dr. Han served as a research neuroimmunology fellow at Westmead Children’s Hospital in Sydney. There, she managed complex neuroimmunological conditions and collaborated with the University of Sydney's immune-neurodevelopment research group. Her contributions to this field include publications in esteemed journals such as *Nature* and *Translational Psychiatry*. Dr. Han’s clinical interests extend to neuropsychiatric conditions like OCD and anxiety, and she is dedicated to teaching medical undergraduates. Her efforts in advancing neuroimmunology earned her the ExxonMobil Research Scholarship in 2021.
