A/Prof Denise Goh is the Head and Senior Consultant at the Division of Genetics and Metabolism, Khoo Teck Puat - National University Children's Medical Institute (NUH), and an Associate Professor at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. A pioneer in paediatric genetics and metabolism, she leads a specialised service offering comprehensive care for children and adults with genetic disorders. She also actively supports financially needy patients as Chairman of the NUH Children's Fund and a member of the NUH Children's Liver & Rare Diseases Fund.
With an MBBS (Hons) and MD from NUS, A/Prof Goh completed advanced training in medical genetics at Johns Hopkins University, becoming board-certified in biochemical genetics and a Fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics. She is the co-editor of *Paediatric Differential Diagnosis – Top 50 Problems* and contributes genetic expertise to the Ministry of Health. Her research focuses on diagnosing and managing inherited conditions, reflecting her deep commitment to advancing paediatric genetic care in Singapore.
