Dr. Emily Gan Yiping is a senior consultant in dermatology at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, with expertise in paediatric dermatology, women’s dermatology, and vascular anomalies. She graduated with an MBBS (Honours) from the National University of Singapore in 2007 and completed her dermatology training in 2014, where she was the top candidate. Dr. Gan further honed her skills with fellowships in paediatric dermatology and pigmentary disorders at leading institutions in France and Canada. Her clinical interests include treating conditions such as acne vulgaris, atopic dermatitis, autoimmune skin diseases, and pigmentary disorders like vitiligo and melasma.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Gan is an active researcher and educator, having published numerous journal articles and book chapters. She is a visiting consultant at Singapore General Hospital and is involved in research on pigmentary disorders and vitiligo. Dr. Gan is also committed to teaching, mentoring medical students and dermatology residents. She holds memberships in various professional societies and has received several prestigious awards for her contributions to dermatology.
