Dr. Nikki Fong is a Consultant in the Genetics Service at KK Women's and Children's Hospital and a Clinical Lead in Paediatrics at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Genomic Medicine Centre. Specializing in genetic conditions, she treats a wide range of disorders in children, including 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome, Achondroplasia, Citrin Deficiency, Inherited Retinal Diseases, Klinefelter Syndrome, and various mitochondrial and metabolic diseases.
Dr. Fong completed her MBBS at the National University of Singapore in 2013, followed by her Master of Medicine in Paediatrics in 2016 and MRCPCH (Paediatrics) in 2017. She is involved in ongoing research, particularly in expanding newborn screening for treatable inherited disorders through targeted genetic analysis. Her clinical and research work reflects her commitment to advancing genetic medicine and improving outcomes for children with rare genetic conditions.
