Clin Assoc Prof Chua Mei Chien is a distinguished Senior Consultant in the Department of Neonatology at KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH). She also serves as the Head of Special Care Nursery and the Director of the KK Human Milk Bank. Renowned for her expertise in neonatal nutrition, particularly for preterm infants, Dr. Chua has developed evidence-based feeding protocols and led initiatives promoting breastfeeding. Her leadership in establishing Singapore’s first Donor Human Milk Bank in partnership with Temasek Foundation Cares showcases her dedication to advancing neonatal care.

Dr. Chua’s accomplishments include chairing the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI), achieving baby-friendly accreditation for KKH, and serving as the president of the Association for Breastfeeding Advocacy (Singapore).
