Adjunct Associate Professor Chong Shang Chee is the Head and Senior Consultant of the Division of Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrics at Khoo Teck Puat - National University Children's Medical Institute (NUH). She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Paediatrics, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Prof Chong holds qualifications in MBBS, MMed (Paeds), MRCPCH (Paeds), and FAMS (Paeds), and has been a leader in paediatrics for over two decades.

Prof Chong specializes in developmental and behavioural paediatrics, focusing on learning difficulties and developmental delays. She has led national programs related to early childhood practices and developmental health, significantly shaping policies on early intervention and educational initiatives in Singapore. In addition, she has worked on innovative projects such as telehealth services for autism spectrum disorder. Prof Chong has received multiple awards, including the Friends of MSF Award in 2021, and is recognized for her contributions to healthcare policy and research, having published extensively in prominent journals.
