Dr. Chinnadurai Amutha is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Neonatology at Khoo Teck Puat - National University Children's Medical Institute, National University Hospital. She completed her MBBS in India in 1988 and received her basic Paediatric and Neonatal training at the Christian Medical College in Vellore, India. She obtained a Diploma in Child Health in 1995 and practiced as a paediatrician in Bangalore until 1997. In 2000, she joined the Department of Neonatology at National University Hospital, Singapore, and completed her Paediatric and Neonatology training there, earning a Membership from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) in 2004.

Dr. Amutha's clinical interests include transcutaneous measurement of jaundice in newborns, newborn resuscitation, and clinical improvement programmes. She also earned a Master of Science (By Research) from the National University of Singapore in 2000, where her research focused on newborn anthropometry. With extensive experience in neonatology, Dr. Amutha continues to contribute significantly to advancing neonatal care.
