Dr. Chin Hui-Lin is a Consultant in the Division of Genetics and Metabolism at Khoo Teck Puat - National University Children's Medical Institute (NUH) and NUWoC Children’s Clinic, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. She also serves as an Assistant Professor in Paediatrics at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Dr. Chin completed her MBBS at NUS, earning the Jane Prize in Paediatrics, followed by her MMed (Paediatrics) and MRCPCH (UK) in 2014. She is a certified paediatrician on the Singapore Medical Council Specialist Register since 2017 and completed a fellowship in Clinical Genetics at BCWCH, Vancouver.

Dr. Chin specializes in diagnosing and managing rare diseases, offering comprehensive care for patients and families dealing with complex genetic conditions. Her clinical interests extend to prenatal evaluations and counselling. She is actively engaged in research on rare diseases, genomic analysis, and variant interpretation, with several publications in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Chin is also a passionate educator, having received multiple teaching awards, including the NUS Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence. Her dedication to clinical excellence and medical education underscores her contributions to the field.
