Adj A/Prof Nisha Suyien Chandran is the Head and Senior Consultant of the Division of Dermatology at the National University Hospital (NUH). She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. A/Prof Chandran completed her Basic Specialist Training in Internal Medicine and pursued Advanced Specialist Training in Dermatology at the National Skin Centre, where she was awarded the Best Candidate in the Dermatology Exit Examination. She further honed her expertise with fellowships in paediatric dermatology and immunodermatology at renowned institutions in Europe.

Her subspecialty interests include paediatric dermatology, autoimmune and genetic blistering skin diseases (such as epidermolysis bullosa), and chronic inflammatory skin conditions like atopic dermatitis and hidradenitis suppurativa. A/Prof Chandran is also deeply involved in medical education, holding leadership roles in both undergraduate and postgraduate training at NUH. She has published extensively and actively participates in the development of clinical policies across the NUHS as the Cluster Lead for clinical policies.
