Dr. Amudha Jayanthi Anand is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Neonatology at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. With over 30 years of experience in neonatology, she specializes in the management of conditions such as cleft lip and palate, neonatal jaundice, and growth and development assessment. She is also involved in the Birth Defect Clinic and follows up with children with Down syndrome. Dr. Amudha is dedicated to neonatal imaging and communication, contributing to various committees, including the Neonatal Ambulatory Committee and Necrotizing Enterocolitis workgroup.

Dr. Amudha holds an MBBS from Madras University, India, and an MRCPCH from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK). She has received several prestigious awards, including the Outstanding Educator Award in 2022 and multiple Singapore Health Quality Service Awards. Her research interests focus on risk factors for focal intestinal perforation in very low birth weight populations and the postnatal outcomes of abdominal cysts.
