Hi ladies! I'm 8 weeks pregnant with my first baby and the morning sickness is killing me 😠Can't keep anything down except plain crackers, and my mother-in-law keeps pushing me to eat more ("baby needs nutrition!"). Working at Raffles Place and having to rush to the toilet every hour is not fun. Anyone found good remedies that actually work? Getting desperate here!

I know it's not super commonly used but ginger tea (caffeine-free) really helped me! of course everything in moderation
Don't forget about sea-bands! I was EXTREMELYYY skeptical when hubby told me but those acupressure wristbands really helped me. You can find them at Guardian. Also, @beverly , tell your MIL that forcing yourself to eat when nauseated can actually make things worse. My TCM physician said small portions of cooling foods are better - try papaya soup or watercress soup if you can stomach it.
Morning sickness is really no joke! During my first pregnancy I relied heavily on bandung and sour plums - something about the sweetness and sourness helped. Now pregnant with #2 and it's even worse 🤢 But peppermint tea has been my saviour this time around. You can get it from Cold Storage or RedMart.
@beverly Congrats on your pregnancy! I totally feel you - I'm 12 weeks now and just starting to feel human again. What really helped me was getting these ginger candies from Unity Pharmacy. The brand is Gin Gins, quite strong but works wonders. Also, try eating small meals throughout the day instead of 3 big ones. My doctor at Thomson Medical recommended vitamin B6 supplements too - might want to ask yours about that!
